Tour Itinerary
Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or residence in Mombasa, Diani, Kilifi, Watamu, or Malindi at approximately 7:30 AM.
Drive along the Mombasa–Nairobi Highway with a brief stop at Kilimanjaro Curio Shop (or Engwata Curio Shop) for refreshments, stretching, and souvenir shopping before continuing to Tsavo East National Park.
Arrive at the park in the late morning and begin your first game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp. Tsavo East is renowned for its vast open plains, the famous red-dust elephants, and abundant wildlife including lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, impalas, gazelles, hartebeests, and numerous bird species.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation.
Later in the afternoon, enjoy tea or coffee before setting off on an exciting evening game drive. As temperatures cool, wildlife becomes more active, offering excellent opportunities to spot grazing herbivores and predators preparing for the evening hunt.
Return to the lodge at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

Numerous bird species
Continue through the park with game viewing en route to your lodge for lunch.

Continue your game drive as you exit the park, offering one final opportunity to spot wildlife and capture memorable photographs.
Stop for lunch at Lion Hill Lodge, where you can enjoy panoramic views overlooking Tsavo East National Park.
