Arrive at Tsavo East National Park in the late morning and begin your first game drive en route to your lodge or tented camp.
Tsavo East is Kenya's largest national park and is famous for its vast open plains, the legendary red elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, hartebeests, impalas, gazelles, warthogs, and numerous bird species. If you're lucky, you may also spot leopards and cheetahs.
Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation.
In the late afternoon, head out for another exciting game drive as wildlife becomes more active during the cooler hours of the day. This is one of the best times to witness predators beginning their evening hunt while herbivores gather near water sources.
