Depart Nairobi after breakfast and drive through the scenic Central Kenya Highlands towards Aberdare National Park, arriving at Aberdare Country Club in time for lunch.
After lunch, transfer by the lodge shuttle into the national park to your chosen tree lodge—The Ark Lodge, Treetops Lodge, or Serena Mountain Lodge.
Perched deep within the forest, these iconic lodges overlook a floodlit waterhole and salt lick that attract wildlife throughout the day and night. Relax from the viewing decks or the comfort of the lounge as elephants, buffaloes, bushbucks, giant forest hogs, bush pigs, spotted hyenas and other forest animals visit the waterhole. With a little luck, you may also spot the elusive Bongo Antelope, leopard, or even a lion.
For an even more memorable experience, the lodge offers a night wake-up call whenever special wildlife makes an appearance at the waterhole.

Wake up to the tranquil sounds of the forest and enjoy breakfast at the lodge before transferring back to Aberdare Country Club to reconnect with your safari vehicle.
Drive back to Nairobi, arriving around midday.
Enjoy lunch at a carefully selected local restaurant before spending the afternoon at leisure. Depending on your flight schedule, you may enjoy optional shopping for souvenirs or a short city sightseeing tour before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward international flight.
For guests with late evening departures, an optional dinner at the world-famous Carnivore Restaurant can be arranged at an additional cost.
