Tour Itinerary
Pick up from your hotel or rensidential home at 7.30am and proceed to Tsavo East National Park via Mombasa Nairobi highway, a stopover at Kilimanjaro or engwata curio shop at 9.30am for toilets and may be have cup of tea or coffee for about 30min then proceed to the gate which is 15 minutes drive from Kilimanjaro curio shop. At 10.45am we enter the park and our first morning game drive starts as we go to the lodge or our safari camp where we check inn and have lunch and relax till evening game drive starts.
At 3.30pm evening coffee or tea welcomes us for the evening game drive which starts at 4.00pm till 6.00pm, this is a very good moment for the game drive since the sun is cool and we have good time for game viewing since most of the animal will be close to the roads during their grazing period, wild cats are likely to be visible since its also a good time for them to be hunting for their prey. Elephants,zebras,buffalos,gazels,girrafes,impalas and much more wildlife. At 6.00pm we are back to lodge/safari camp for dinner and over night.
Wake up early at 6.00 have a cup of coffee or tea ready for early morning game drive which starts at 6.10 am till 8.30 am, this is another good moment since its also cool since the sun is just rising and most of the wildlife are grazing very close to the roads and more visible at a close range and also most of wild cats are also doing the hunting so we have high chances of spotting the wildlife more close and also making good photos and films.
At 8.30 am we are back to lodge for full breakfast there after followed by check out of lodge /safari camp at 10.00 am and leave for Tsavo West National Park where we arrive at the gate at 1145am and a game enroute to mzima springs where we will have a nature walk at the spring ready to see different species of birds, fish, crocodiles, hippopotamus and monkeys at a close range.
This is where the water comes from underground and erupts, and the Tsavo West Chullu Hills from Amboseli form a lake and its fresh water is fetched to the coastal region for drinking.
The water flows to the thwe coast through pipes and flows by gravitational force to the coast. After 40 minutes of nature walk, we proceed to the lodge /safari camp (Kilanguni or Ngulia) with a game en route for lunch and relax.
At 3.30 pm, a cup of tea or coffee welcomes us for the evening game drive, which takes us up to late evening at 6.00 when we are back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Wake up at 6.00 am have breakfast at 6.30 am, followed by check out of lodge at 700am and a game en route as we leave for the shetanic lavae, where you will be able to see the shamba la shetani [shetanic lavae], which occurred due to a volcanic eruption several years ago and looks like a garden ploughed every day, hence the people of Kenya naming it as shetanic lavae [shetanic garden].
This time is always a very good time for us to have a nice game viewing and also see the wildcats doing their hunting. Game en route continues as we leave Tsavo West to Amboseli through Chululu Hills.
This takes us about 1hour and 45minutes to Amboseli where we arrive at 12.30 midday arriving at lunch hours check inn lodge/safari camp and have lunch followed by relax till 3.30pm when a cup of coffee evening welcomes you for the game drive which takes you till 6.00pm when your back for dinner and over night.
Wake up early and have your break fast at 6.30 am followed by check out of lodge/safari camp at 7.00 am and a game enroute follows as we leave Amboseli national park and if the sky is clear and good weather we have mount Kilimanjaro all out with great lovely view in the morning with nice photo shooting of the Kilimanjaro and animals crossing roads as the are coming to swamps for graizing.
We leave Amboseli National Park at 9.30 am for Mombasa with a lunch stopover in Voi at Lions Hill Safari Lodge at 13.00hours.
Thereafter, we leave for Mombasa/south coast in dianai /Malindi /watamu beach at your hotel, arriving in the late evening with full memories of a 4-day safari.
